Proludic have worked very closely with key Local Authorities and Landscape Architects over the past 12 months, assisting in the delivery of the Wave 1 Playbuilder and Playpathfinder programme.
Based on our experience in the current play agenda and the delivery of Wave 1 projects we have developed this website to help to answer some of the questions posed to us in relation to Playbuilder and Playpathfinder projects and the notion of ‘natural play’ or ‘landscape-led design’.
Listening to and working with our clients and landscape architects such as Aileen Shackell (lead author of the Design for Play guide), has enabled us to create showcase examples of landscape-led play areas. We understand the requirements for Playbuilder and Playpathfinder investment in play and have the knowledge, expertise and play equipment to deliver successful and practical solutions.
“It is up to the LAs to determine how they want to deliver this programme on the ground. Along with Play England we will support them in the delivery of innovative, excellent and sustainable sites and challenge where we believe there are opportunities missed”. – DCSF
